Our journey together began in 2021 when we were commissioned by a high-net-worth individual to explore the potential for creating a new executive power in response to biosphere collapse. As we delved deeper, we became increasingly aware of the risks of centralised responses and the complexity of decentralised responses.
We feel the urgency of the climate and ecological crises, inequalities, resource wars and unaligned technology - yet we know that these problems cannot be solved in isolation, nor by any single entity. This is why we are committed to tackling these problems through a plurality of responses at different scales.
We embrace the uncertainty that comes with accepting that we do not yet know what the future looks like, and we remain open to what emerges as part of a wider ecology of change.
